The Landlords

Mark Falzon is now the new landlord of the City Arms from January 2026. He was previously in charge of the Old Arcade for nearly 11 years (since April 2015), and has run a few Pubs before including the Owain Glyndwr in St John’s street. Mark was in charge of the Old A when the Covid lockdowns hit and, when in recovery, the Council allowed tables for the customers in the Arcade outside. He has plenty of experience and insists that he loves working in the City Centre, as there are so many different characters who visit from all over the world and the rugby family has donated so many memorabilia to the City Arms

Mark together with his wife, Louise are opening the upstairs rooms as a Café during the day time and function rooms in the evening  – with a Welsh theme – Caffi Cymru (www.cafficymru.co.uk)
